RHS The Old Laboratory
As an extension to Hilltop The Home of Gardening Science, we were asked to create a series of immersive rooms and displays that tell the diverse history of the RHS at Wisley. The Old Laboratory takes a journey back through the development of Science at the RHS through people stories and landmark moments in gardening over the years at Wisley.
Set within the familiar Grade II-listed Old Laboratory building that greets every visitor on arrival to Wisley. The interior of the building has been sensitively and sympathetically refurbished, with the reinstatement of original architectural features including the sloped lecture theatre floor.
